Federal Tax Credit Up To $1500 for High Efficiency Products

On February 17, 2009, The President made important changes to the homeowner tax credits for specified energy-efficient home improvements, which includes qualified heating and cooling products.

Homeowners who purchase a qualified heating and cooling product between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010 are now eligible for a tax credit equal to 30% of the full purchase and installation price with a cap of $1,500.

Tax Credit Review:

30% of the full purchace and installation price cost.- up to $1,500
Expires: December 31, 2010
Must be an existing home & your principal residence. New construction and rentals do not qualify.
