Tax breaks bring savings on high-efficiency products.
Penguin Air Conditioning offers complete selection of high-efficiency ENERGY STAR® rated home comfort systems that qualify for tax credits by meeting the minimum energy-efficiency ratings stipulated in the Middle Class Tax Relief Act of 2010. These tax credits are available on qualifying equipment purchased and installed between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011.

Tax credits up to $500 are available on the following products:
Central air conditioners Tax Credit: Units that achieve a minimum SEER of 16.00 and minimum EER of 13.00 and are matched with the proper indoor coil and/or furnace
Central heat pumps Tax Credit: Units that achieve a minimum HSPF of 8.5, a minimum SEER of 15.00 and minimum EER of 12.50 and are matched with the proper indoor coil and/or furnace
Packaged System Tax Credit: energy ratings of 14.00 SEER, 12.00 EER or higher, and 8.00 HSPF or higher

Tax credits up to $50
Advanced Fan Furnace Tax Credit – Available on any furnace equipped with an advanced main air circulating fan that uses no more than 2% of the furnace’s total energy

The best way to find tax credit eligible air conditioning system is to ask your HVAC Contractor (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning). A Penguin Air representative will provide you with the proper printed manufacturer certification statement for the equipment you purchase.
